The flock, enjoying a beautiful fall day in their new aviary. The aviary is 10'x10', framed in 1" Sched. 40 PVC, and 16 guage 0.5"x3" GAW wire mesh, attached to the frame with UV stable zip ties. We plan to do a 'how to' walk-through, complete with a list of materials. We have furnished it with a small plastic baby pool with only a little water (for safety reasons) and a ladder made of 0.5" PVC, an expanded metal patio table (on clearance!), a PVC play stand (1"and 2" PVC - designed and built by the husband), two chairs for the two non-perching members of the flock and some bird-safe plants (Dracaena and Hibiscus). There are also numerous small perches, a 'boing' around the center support, and coop cups for water and food. . Note: Aunalese (the female Green Cheek) is missing from the video. She did not want to go in the carrier to go outside, today, so I respected her wishes and left her indoors. The audio was dubbed in from YouTube because the video's audio consisted of a VERY loud lawnmower as a neighbor decided to start mowing his yard just as I began shooting the video.
